Affi – Voice Affirmations
Effective Date: July 16, 2026
Affi – Voice Affirmations (“Affi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal affirmation and audio app that helps users create, record, and listen to personal affirmations and soundtracks.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Affi collects, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
1. Information We Collect
Affi may collect or process the following types of information depending on how you use the app:
User Content
You may create affirmations, soundtrack titles, saved soundtracks, favorites, listening history, journal-style reflections, and related app content.
Audio Recordings
Affi uses the microphone only when you choose to record your own affirmations. Your recordings are treated as user content.
Account Information
If you create or sign in to an account, we may process account identifiers and information provided through the sign-in method, such as Sign in with Apple.
Subscription Information
If you purchase Affi Premium, subscription status and entitlement information may be processed to provide access to paid features, restore purchases, and manage subscription access. Payments and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store.
Usage Data
We may collect privacy-safe product analytics, such as app interactions, feature usage, onboarding completion, paywall views, purchase flow events, and playback events. We do not intentionally collect affirmation text, journal text, recording contents, or sensitive user-created content in analytics.
Diagnostics
We may collect crash reports, error reports, device information, operating system version, and app version/build information to diagnose issues and improve app stability.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate Affi’s app features
- Save and manage user-created affirmations, recordings, and soundtracks
- Support account access, sign-in, and account deletion
- Provide subscription access and restore purchases
- Improve app reliability and performance
- Understand privacy-safe product usage
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal and platform requirements
3. Microphone Access
Affi requests microphone permission so you can record your own affirmations. Recording is user-initiated. You can manage microphone permission in iOS Settings.
Affi does not use the microphone unless you start a recording feature in the app.
4. Local Storage and Cloud Services
Some Affi data may be stored locally on your device.
If account or cloud features are enabled, user content and related account data may be stored or synced using Supabase. This may include account identifiers, app records, and user audio files needed to provide cloud functionality.

Affi may use the following service providers:
- Supabase for authentication, database, cloud storage, and account-related backend services
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management and purchase status
- Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics
- PostHog for privacy-safe product analytics
- Apple services, including Sign in with Apple and App Store subscriptions
These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Affi.

- Journal or reflection text
- Audio recording contents
- Apple identity tokens
- Supabase access tokens
- Local secrets
- Payment card information
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Affi Premium subscriptions are purchased through the App Store. Apple handles payment processing, billing, cancellation, and refunds.
Affi may use RevenueCat to understand whether a subscription is active and to unlock premium features. Affi does not receive your full payment card details.
8. Account Deletion
If account features are enabled, you may delete your account from within the app where account deletion controls are available. Account deletion is intended to delete the cloud account and associated cloud user content, subject to reasonable retention required for security, legal, backup, or operational purposes.
Deleting the app from your device may remove local app data depending on iOS behavior and app storage.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide Affi, support users, maintain subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and operate secure services.
Local data remains on your device unless removed through app features, iOS behavior, or app deletion. Cloud data may remain until account deletion or another deletion request is completed, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention limits.
